Holland Piper is a certified physician assistant specializing in pediatric general surgery with a clinical interest in patient education and patient care practices. She began her medical career at the University of Georgia where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology, followed by her Physician Assistant Studies program at Drexel University in Philadelphia.
Holland is guided by a deep respect for the dignity and worth of every individual. She views her role as a healthcare professional as one of bringing light, comfort and support to those she serves. She believes that clear and compassionate communication is essential, particularly when explaining how a body system functions, what has gone wrong and how medical interventions can help. When patients and families understand the underlying concerns and the reasoning behind treatment options, they feel more confident and empowered in their decision-making. Holland’s goal is to foster that empowerment, encouraging patients to advocate for themselves and make informed choices that align with their values and health goals.
Outside of work, Holland enjoys exploring new coffee shops, taking road trips to the mountains, going for hikes and spending time with her family.
